Recent projects have included: facilitation of strategic, product planning and business plan development sessions; leadership assessment and coaching; leading a process improvement team; design, distribution, and analysis of employee surveys on strategic, structural and behavioral issues. Scott Kunkel, Ph. D., has been teaching and consulting for over 20 years after a career as an executive in the banking industry. Specializing in strategic management for family firms, Scott has consulted and served on the boards of several family-owned businesses. He has served as Executive Director and Faculty Liaison for the University of San Diego Family Busienss Forum as well as being a Past President of the U.S. Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Scott is an Associate Professor of Management at the University of San Diego and teaches Strategic Management as well as one of the earliest and longest running Family Business courses in the world.

Judi Spear, is the principal consultant and president of The Spear Group, Inc., a communication consulting form, consulting with for-profit and not-for-profit clients in manufacturing, food, automotive services, technology, education, health and human services. In addition to consulting, Judi serves as an executive coach, facilitator, and trainer.
